About Us

pic5Directors of this company have many years experience of building and fitting out steel boats for use on inland waterways. Over the years industry standards have steadily improved as client expectations and awareness has grown.

During the past eight years every one of our projects have been insulated with sprayed polyurethane and arising from our determination to provide a quality finish at reasonable cost we decided to offer this service.

Apparatus we use has need of a power supply greater man is normally available at domestic and most commercial premises. We therefore carry a generator on the vehicle together with our compressor and all .the other equipment necessary to complete your job. The primary reasons for defects in the finished foam are inadequate temperature and excess moisture in the atmosphere. A heater and blown air ducting are therefore made available and used whenever necessary.

Temperature is so critical that we will not attempt to spray if the atmospheric temperature and that of the bulk chemicals cannot be raised to a satisfactory level. It is essential that the two chemicals, which combine in the spray head, be at the correct temperature and whilst heat elements extend along the full length of the hose-line we try to keep the hose length to a minimum and certainly not more than 150ft. It is therefore essential that we are able to safely drive the heavily loaded 3 tonne van to within 80 ft of the boat. Should close access not be available, please draw this to our notice well in advance.
